With a mission to turn adversity into action, The Blue Ribbon Gala has since grown into a beacon of hope and advocacy, supporting a range of health causes and making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
Each year, attendees come together to enjoy an evening of entertainment, fine dining, and meaningful conversation, all while contributing to life-changing medical research, community support programs, and wellness education. The funds raised go directly toward supporting vital health initiatives that impact families across the country.

Why we advocate.
At The Arangio Health Foundation, we aim to transform how people perceive and live with chronic diseases, especially diabetes. Despite its prevalence, people with diabetes often face stigma and discrimination, which can lead to depression and increased health risks.
Our mission, through events like the Blue Ribbon Gala, is to shift this narrative. We advocate for a Canada where health challenges don’t define a person’s worth—where living with diabetes carries no shame, only support.
